Hardware Alternative points for hardmod

Are there maybe alternative points for old 3ds Xl? And if yes, where are they?

The DAT0, CMD and CLK points are very simple to solder on 3DS XL.

Do you have torn some of these points to need alternative ones ?

Also I'm constantly getting blue screen with errorcode even if micro sd card isn't connected to solider points. Does anyone knows what that means?

If you've torn DAT0 or the CLK it's game over. We need to see images of your soldering work.

DAT0 was the first one who got broken. I'm not sure for other points. I was thinking then to sell for parts console or buy new motherboard.

So are there alternative points or not? Also, what's with constant blue screen? I get it even when my console isn't connected to sd card

If the CMD point is torn you can't rewired it to an alternative point.

Take a picture of your motherboard to let us see the damaged points.
If the points are not torn, maybe there is a solution.

Couldn't get better photo, it's hard to focus on motherboard. Also check DAT1, 2, 3. Pretty bad, huh?

Yup I'm an idiot. I meant to put CMD. My fingers just typed as I was thinking out aloud. There's obviously other DAT points so tearing one wouldn't damage the nand reading process. My bad. Thanks for correcting me.

Yea thought so, anyway I was thinking about selling then this 3ds for parts since overall console is great condition, I haven't noticed any marks on case or anything similar. It's in really great condition and other components should work perfect. What do you think guys how much could I get for it? Around 70$?

I found on aliexpress replacement motherboards for 3ds xl, price is around 50$ + around 5$ shipping. What do you guys think? Will it be really bad quality of motherboard?

The motherboard could be USA model, beware of that.

Yes it is USA mode, is it there problem with it? I can't use it on European console?

You could but no access to EUR eShop and US games are natively supported, not EUR / Australia.

In my opinion it is not good purchase.

Well if you're talking about regionlock, for me it's not a problem. I'm not using eshop anyway, nor any similar feature. Also bypassing region lock for cartridge games is really easy + if i'm going to buy it, i'm going to install rxtools on it so it will be regionfree again.
