Okay, so, I used TikDevil and that restored a lot of the games I had on my 3DS but not nearly all of them. Any suggestions on how to recover the rest? Like I said they are on the SD, just not showing up on the home menu.
For the rest you'll have to download the CIAs again and reinstall - but if you do so with FBI it'll recognise that they're already there and it'll only take a few seconds instead of the 5 min-1 hour it might have originally taken.

You're talking about Plailect's guide? That takes 3 hours and lots of patience from everyone I've heard. :P
It took me 7 hours because I got stuck where it told me to tinyformat twice, which left me without an exploit to use, until I learned to swap OoTHax payloads, and thankfully I had a second 2DS to do that with. :)

I think you were supposed to reinstall TinyFormat with FBI. You don't need any paid hacks besides when downgrading from 10.6 or 10.7.

Well MenuHax kept shitting out on me, so having OoTHax was not only more reliable and a life-saver for me, it makes the whole process much quicker. Seems MenuHax only works when it wants to, then it disappears. I had to get to the HBlauncher somehow, and after downgrading from 10.7 to 9.2, browserhax no longer worked, it would lock up after flashing two yellow screens, then boot me out to the home screen with an error.

Sounds like you had a partial downgrade maybe, but if you got it working with OoT that's great :-)

Nah, my downgrade finished flawlessly. Did my 2DS and my step-daughter's 2DS. I had never moded a 3DS system before, and with clear guides and permanent cold-booted CFW, I just had to give it a try.

I used TikDevil just now, but after it finished, I still don't see my installed games from the home menu... I might just clear out my Nintendo3DS folder and reinstall stuffs.

Okay guys. So.
Accidental upgrade to 10.7....check!
Ninjhax 2.6 beta to downgrade to 9.2 sysnand....check!
Format sysNAND to unlink, making sure SD card is removed....check!
All games/installed CIAs disappear in both emuNAND and sysNAND?....check?? .-.
SD Card still as full (32 gb used up) as before I accidentally upgraded....check. ;-;
So I'm running (what should be unlinked hopefully) 9.2 sysNAND and 9.2 Luma3DS emuNAND on an O3DS
What do I do, based GBATemp gods?
Another issue that wouldn't happen if you installed a9lh

I'm on A9LH, and have this problem too, I had to format my nand to unlink the two, and now my installed sd card games don't show up. And I have scoured with FBI, SDF, and Title Manager, but come up empty-handed. :/

I've done this too, and instead of overwriting the existing copy, I'm pretty sure I have duplicate games installed now. :/

Y'all A9LH throat crammers are like Team Flare. :rofl2:

Mine is making duplicates. :P I think it's because I installed the first batch on the damn patched sysnand I didn't know I was running.

Why didn't you back up your sd card? And you probably formatted the nand with your ganes on it

Yes, but the games were installed to SD, not NAND. So at most, just the saves and tickets got wiped, right? But TikDevil didn't work for me... :/
Oh wow, yeah, you wiped the nand you installed the games to

Okay, so, actually. It isn't making duplicates. It can't be. (Yes they are still installing jfc). It's overwriting them for some unknown reason. It's hellish. But if it'll make them appear then I'm not too mad. :P As long as it doesn't fuck up any save data. (I mean I actually don't even care about that...what? One Pokemon game and Mario Kart 7? :P)

Okay so I installed the CIAs and now the damn emuNAND refuses to load. It shows the splash screen and then both screens just shut off and I have to manually shut down. :/
