Gaming alien breed 3 descent

Hi I tried posting on gamefaqs.com and the team 17 forums, both are dead and no one seems to care about this game even being out. My issue is this the avatar item space helmet unlocked, but when i go to scope it out in the avatar place it shows up as an exclamation mark. I cannot select it at all, anyone else having this issue? BTW its the one you get for finding and firing the weapon x.

is your xbox on the newest dashboard?i was awarded stuff in halo reach but couldnt use it till everything was updated.took a few weeks.

Yes I'm on the current dashboard console is not modded in anyway, everything up until that unlock worked fine.So I guess just wait it out?
