This may have already been mentioned, in which case I apologize, but what version of the loader does AIO 1.2 use?

There's space in the cheat window for another button. Could you put the option to toggle cheat scrolling there?

nope. not that simple.
pre-processing and post-processing combine with real-time-processing to make you think it's just happening right there.

so, no.

still uses the same loader.
I think norm *just* got his hands on the new loader but oh well. just put it in akloader and work from there.

again, i also don't know if the "bliss made all these changes and we merged his awesome work" loader they just released works as a custom loader. I still just use the latest "beta" they posted, since it's the same loader.

It seems like the "bliss made all these changes and we merged his awesome work" (AKA official 4.08) loader works.

There's a problem, like in 1.1r2 I can't copy & paste my .nds files with my 8GB Micro SDHC Sandisk Card.
Don't know what's the problem, other files are working and with my normal 2GB SDHC Sandisk Card it's working.
I got a 8GB Sandisk SDHC Ultra and a normal one, both can't copy my nds files to the nand.
please fix it, smiths!

This message is upcoming:

Error not enough Space:
memory allocation error

btw.: there is enough space, 200mb on my sd card and 900mb on my nand.

mmm maybe it's the wrong place to ask here but i'll ask
i tried using this to run band bros DX but i get a black screen... i understand that band bros is a special games since it uses a different kind of save than those that are usualy used but i thought this firmware supported the game... is there something else i can do to run the game?

If I were at home with my SDHC reader, I would have DOWNLOADED IT.
Hope the Updating Cheat DB works. Please let it work..

Very nice to see all these fixes and improvements

Only thing I found annoying is the lack of key repeat in the cheat menu - before I figured out the touchscreen works there very well; I think it will be a long while before I figure out everything that has been worked into this thing.

On chkdsk today, I came up with a 160KiB lost chain, 0x00 filled except for the first 4 bytes being ascii "AKGB" - it seems most is extrememly stable though, I did a bunch of copy/paste(and paste with abort)/delete operations before I ran the chk just to see how reliable the FS drivers are in this build (after seeing the problem someone mentioned with card corruption on cheat update.)

QUOTE(Smiths @ Aug 18 2008, 10:21 AM) we don't have SDHC cards to test. so just don't copy and paste. problem solved.
turn off rom trimming I dunno.

like i said.. we have no SDHC cards, especially not 8GB ones. so you're in your own boat.
Are you sure this isn't another low memory issue? Not sure how it's set up memory wise when dealing with both 'drives.'

damn. a +1, eh?

didn't realize it was a competition.

and apparently you still fail to realize this supports 2 (potentially 3) cards at once. with one file.

the official firmware supports 1.

So, thanks for the support.

The question wasn't to you Takoru, it is about the dldi/fatlib and how it will add memory when adding drivers/open file descriptors (it may well be the sdhc portion has additional requirements as well) - from what I can see of the old/410 official RPG source, they have both drivers running at the same time, two open file descriptors and a 1MiB copy buffer that is alloc'd (CONTINUOUS_COPY_SIZE def in files.cpp.) Having a big malloc'd buffer when transferring a file in between could be what is causing the reported "memory allocation error" (which, by the bye, if it was card space issues would resolve to a "no free space" type error); unless this has already been tested and I'm wasting my... ah... fingerskin, I guess.

smiths/normatt, if you didn't catch it in there I'm loving all the improvements you guys have pitched in over your previous, and current official, releases.

Just downloaded 1.2. Works great.

TXT Viewer: What's the difference between the Plugin and Internal?
Edit: I like the Internal one better because it's line by line. Although it doesn't save your point like the Plugin does. I find the Internal one is better for short .txt files and the Plugin is better for large .txt files like game guides from GameFaqs.

GBA: I'm using the eWin 2in1, don't know if that really makes a difference or not. Anyways, when I launch the GBA game, it just freezes after loading. Sometimes, it'll load upto the beginning part where it says Game Boy but not Nintendo on the bottom (or it'll be all scribbled up). When I use the GBA Loader it works fine though. It patched the game and then it worked. Then I tried from the AK Menu to see if Patching would make a difference or not. It didn't. I tried games that ended in both .gba and .GBA but no luck. Or

Update Cheat DB: Don't really know if it works because I installed the latest .XML file. So I'm going to wait for the next update because I'm not sure if it doesn't work because it already has the latest update or if it just doesn't work. By the way, which one is better, .XML or USRCHEAT.DAT for the AK2? I understand that only these 2 can be updated.

AKAIO only supports EZ Flash V 3-in-1 natively.

First thanks' to all the developer's for their hard work.

I know you guy's don't have a ewin expansion card or a 8 gb micro-SD card to test.
ever thought of opening a pay-pal account for donation's.
I would easily send you guy's a Fifty, and I'm sure other's would donate a couple buck's to help the cause.

It would be cool if people could either donate to general development,
or to certain feature's. with the cash going to any developer who hop's
on board to solve a problem.

I know this would be tricky, but seeing how firmware is not eligible for GBAtemps bounty.
this could reward users and developers.

Peace.

Just curious, what are the 3 possibilities?
