It's nice to here that the old Acekard 2i is also updateable... I gave my HWID44 to my mum for her DSi and bought a new HW81 because I thought it wasn't updateable. The bump being gone is also a plus of the HW81 though although the person who applied the sticker to it didn't put it on correctly and now I have to force the card in which is a little annoying.

i wonder what would happen if you flash this update to a regular ak2, would it turn into a 2i?

No no it wouldn't .... this updates languages which the ak2 is already perfected.
