Uh, yeah. I can make a site that sells cheap knockoffs and say I'm the R4 team. What is the real R4 team going to do, sue me? Thanks to Nintendo, those guys are most likely in lockdown mode right now. If we ever do hear from the R4 team again it's not going to be for a long time and they likely won't admit who they are.

That means no more firmware and no SDHC R4. Do I have proof or inside knowledge of this? No. Would I bet money on it? Yes.

This thread has gotten WAY off topic.

I think the R4 team are either hiding, in court or jail or just plain gonzo with all the cash they made from the R4. For all we know, one of the other carts on the market now actually is the R4 team, but they would never admit it.

Needless to say, the R4 team is apparently dead, never to return. It's time to move on. Whether that means buying a new flashcart or using hacked firmwares for the R4, whatever, but i wouldn't count on the R4 team to EVER release another firmware.

I recommend a mod lock this topic as a dead issue.
