Hacking AH9L to BS95

Hello Everyone,

i bought a new 3ds XL for my gilfriend and installed B9s on it (worked perfectly)

Now i´d like to Update my new 3ds xl with AH9L (to b9s, to get rid of emunand and update to the latest firmware)

I followed this guide:

But at the point:

Section II - Installing boot9strap

1. Boot your device while holding (Start) to launch SafeB9SInstaller
   • If you see the luma configuration screen instead of SafeB9SInstaller, simply press (Start), then shutdown your 3DS and try again
   • If this gives you an error, try either using a new SD card, or formatting your current SD card (backup existing files first)

My 3ds just boots into Decrypt9WIP.

What can i do?

Wrong payload in /luma/payloads. It should be a .bin file.

Thanks for your answer.

But that was not the problem (bin file was there). I found the solution (or at leas "a" solution) a few minutes ago.
In the ah9l folder was a bootmanager. There was a ini file, which contained the configuration, what to boot when "start" or "select" is pressed.
So i pointed "start" to the SafeB9SInstaller.bin and it worked.
