I'm not sure it looks THAT good, like Wayforward aren't quite putting their all into this title.

The other 3DS licensed title they're developing at the moment, Hotel Transylvania, actually looks very promising and quite like a Castlevania game too.

I agree with RupeeClock, the game looks like it's one of those unknown ds games.
It actually may be, it's also being developed for the DS.
The 3DS version will likely just be a slightly enhanced DS version, which is also the case for the Adventure Time game on DS and 3DS.

This game really doesn't look good at all to me, but I'm the biggest Adventure Time fan. It's kind of sad that it looks like it was made in less than enough time.

Meh, I hoped it was Metroid-vania-y. I'm a HUUUUUUGE Adventure Time fan, but this game just looks... simple.
The show itself has a simple art style too, but as the game does this may be its undoing.
The trailer doesn't really show off anything too exciting, part of what made Zelda II work was that you had to consider where you jabbed, and when to jab as to raise your shield.
I don't think this game will have that despite taking inspiration from Zelda II.

I mean, I mean... the gameplay is just simple. Zelda II was hardcore hard, and that was which made the game.

This one is just a... go on, punch punch punch, go on. Rinse and repeat.

We haven't really seen what much of the gameplay can do either.

Metroidvania games arguably have a somewhat simple combat system too, but it plays that as a strength because there's SO MUCH exploration to do, and so much variety in the weapons you can use, along with sub-weapons or other techniques that grant access to new areas, or act as evasive or defensive maneuvers.

If Adventure time is gonna have more options than just using the same punches over and over it may work out alright.

Sort of game I'd download, not pay £30 for it.
And yet they insist of producing a collector's edition with a sword-shaped stylus, Enchiridion styled case, and print of the world map.

Wayforward's forte does seem to be download titles. I love the Mighty series and Shantae.

Yep..it will still sell well though. The IP is really strong right now.

I hope so, I like adventure time and WayForward games myself.

But thing is, it's still a Cartoon Network game. Cartoon Network games have a reputation for being, well, crap. Then again most cartoon network games are not WayForward developed.

Adventure Time for DS?
Hmmmm.....
