ROM Hack advanced wars modded or fan made maps?

So really back into my 3ds at the moment, have a few emulators installed and still can not get enough of advanced wars, i wish there was a modern alternative now!
Anyway after recently stumbling upon the mario kart ct gp 7 and the new mario bros halloween it made me think has anyone made any new levels for any of the old advance wars game?
I suspect no as its a dated game now and having searched youtube etc could not find anything but was hopefull of someone maybe showing me something i may have missed?

Advance wars is one of the most hacked games after pokemon and the core mario themed games as far as modern Nintendo goes.

Be warned such games are a bit simpler than the stuff we got in English.

There are a few games it traditionally competed with as well, at least before Fire Emblem blew up for reasons I have never been able to fathom. Daisenryaku and Nobunaga's Ambition being the main two but there are others, indeed play some of the Daisenryaku games and you will see a fair few bits of inspiration for the DS efforts.
