PES 2021 NX is an experimental Android arm64 compatibility wrapper for Nintendo Switch homebrew. It runs the original game libraries through native libnx-backed Android, Bionic, JNI, audio, input, filesystem, and graphics compatibility shims, it is not an Android emulator.

This port contains wrapper source code, project-authored preparation tools, and compatibility screenshots only. It does not contain an APK, OBB, native game libraries, extracted runtime assets, saved data, or private keys. Supply a legally obtained compatible copy of the game. Do not request copyrighted files, download links, private keys, or piracy support.

Latest Update v1.0.98
This release expands the port from a small Exhibition proof of concept into a more complete offline match flow:
  • 95 selectable teams: 38 clubs and 57 national teams, with validated squads and shirt numbers from the supported master data;
  • a compact four-tile menu for Exhibition, Credits, Training, and Version Info, reached directly from the title screen;
  • independent HOME and COM selection, COM level, General Match Settings, and a clear Proceed > Game Plan > Play route into a local match;
  • differentiated player ratings instead of the former uniform overall value;
  • menu and match audio through libnx AudioOut, including English commentary when the compatible commentary data is present;
  • full Switch controller coverage through the tested Classic mobile-control layout, including gameplay, set pieces, replays, penalties, Pause, Game Plan, and match-result navigation;
  • controller-first custom overlays for video settings, credits, and set-piece taker selection, plus a stable seven-level COM difficulty route.

I played a match on my Switch and I'm loving the gameplay—I'm even considering uninstalling EAFC26 and just playing this instead. I hope there are more updates and licenses coming. I'm making an effort to let everyone know about this port, because it's the eFootball game we never got.

Hey Ibnuard!

I’ve been playing this mod and I am absolutely loving it! The core gameplay is incredibly fun and smooth, almost looks like KONAMI had been ported the PES 2021 officially.
I’m really invested in it, so I was curious about your future plans for the project:
  • Do you think you'll ever implement the Campaign Mode in the future just like in the mobile version? I'm really looking forward to the longevity of the game so it doesn't just stay limited to exhibition mode.
  • Are there plans to unlock the free gacha system here eventually, similar to how it works on the modded mobile version?
  • Will there be a future patched version with official clubs and kits, or should we expect to keep using the current ones?
  • Is there currently a way to remap the controller scheme? I usually play FIFA/EAFC, so my muscle memory is hardwired to use A for shooting, Y for crossing/tackling, and R2 for sprinting.
I'm so sorry for asking too much questions and no pressure at all if these aren't on your radar—I know how much work goes into homebrew development. Thanks for making such an awesome game!

First of all, thanks a lot for the port! Great work! I have a question and a suggestion. Why did you remove the high-graphics option? I feel like it runs very smoothly on my Switch OLED without needing a heavy overclock. My suggestion would be to remove the passing aim line to make it more like the console version.
