If i move the ISO folder adrenaline loads and plays ps1 games but when the ISO folder is there adrenaline freezes.

Right now I'd like to douse the """Easy""" Installer with gasoline, set it ablaze, put the remains in a rocket, then launch it toward the sun. In what sense is this easy? It sure as hell hasn't been easy for me to use it with a flash drive. Adrenaline will install straight to the internal storage, but if you want to use a flash drive there's no way in hell it's going to happen. I've tried. Repeatedly. Moving files from the internal storage to the drive doesn't seem to do the job either. There's always an error, always an excuse. I had to format my drive to get it to cooperate last time, and I'm sure as hell not doing THAT again.

I used ftp to transfer the files from the internal memory to the pc and then stuck them on the flash drive.

how can i play ps1 full screen???
Umm hold home button until the menu pops up then press settings next to the game bubble then open official psp settings and then change the settings of the game to full screen. (Do it for each ps1 game you are playing)

Anyone having issues with adrenaline freezing trying to read psp games from the ISO folder?
I have no problems with my psp iso or ps1 games. Are you sue your iso are good dumps? maybe convert to cso?

Easy way to update is simply replace the files in the adrenaline folder on the memory card. Thank you for keeping things simple and make sure you tell everyone that.

Remember the easy installer is for people who have not used adrenaline yet. not for pepople like us who been using it since day one. :P

I'll bite. Which files specifically do I need? Because I copied the game itself from pspemu and all the files in Adrenaline. I didn't attempt an FTP transfer, but at the moment I'd be willing to try just about anything. Also, will it recognize the game itself once you've moved from internal storage to the flash drive?

I have a problem ...
So from the OP it sounds like you have to install the older Adrenaline, then swap some files. So I tried to follow the guide here https://gbatemp.net/threads/installing-adrenaline-6-61.449344/, but the 'pspemu' folder didn't show up, and when I tried to create it my computer told me the folder already exists. In the FAQ, it mentions this problem, and says you have to use VitaShell 1.42, while I was using 1.51. I tried to install 1.42, but got an error at 99% installed. I tried MolecularShell to install 1.42 as well (in case it was a problem that it couldn't overwrite itself) but it doesn't install at all (stays at 0%).
What do I do now? Can I uninstall VitaShell 1.51 and install 1.42 from MolecularShell? Not sure if that will work since MolecularShell won't install it (but maybe that's only because a different version already exists).

try installing 1.61 first is the latest version.

OK trying that now. But won't I still have the same problem since I need 1.42 to install the older Adrenaline?

Edit: yeah still no good, the pspemu folder still doesn't show up.
Create a psp emu folder... do you have any psp games on the system yet? Try using this https://github.com/Freakler/vita-Ad...leases/download/v1.06/EasyInstaller_v1061.vpk
Use it to create a psp bubble. :)

Don't forget to make sure unsafe homebrew is enabled in molecule. Open molecule then press start and enable it. (Also enable psn spoofing and spoof version as well and set to 3.63) Then close it and try again

apparently sony left out the stretch feature for ps1 games on PSTV even though it's on the vita.....such a horrible decision uhhh i hate 4:3 on wide screen tvs...hopefully the flow can add that to adrenaline in the future

Is not sony problem, is adrenaline, I know for a fact that ps1 games on pstv are full screen. I played chrono trigger on my tv before adrenaline. To fix the problem in adrenaline, change the output on the vita settings to 480P or 720P to get bigger screen, is not full screen is still forced 4:3 instead of complete full screen, best you can do for the moment. Tried it with crash 3 warped, it confirmed to fix issue with the small TOP LEFT box problem. :P

PSP games don't render at 1080I on psvita tv, the system actually switches input to 720P when using official psn games on home menu of vita, so if anyone needs to know, adrenaline doesn't swap resolutions to fix this problem, best to stay on 720P if you plan to play ps1 games on vita tv. :)

If anyone can get remotejoylite working with adrenaline, I like to have someone confirm it does please? Windows 10 users don't have a easy install process that is safe due to that psp driver needed isn't a signed home brew or whatever

I used ftp to transfer the files from the internal memory to the pc and then stuck them on the flash drive.

It still wasn't cooperating. I kept getting C0-11136-2 errors, suggesting that it couldn't find the game. What I wound up doing was unmounting the flash drive, transferring the bubble (Big Head Snooker) to my PC with the content manager, mounting the flash drive again, and transferring the bubble back. An annoyingly convoluted workaround, but effective. Now I'm going to work off my frustrations in a few games of Street Fighter EX, now that I can play it.

I do appreciate the help, though. I'm sure I still needed some of those files.

Not sure what prevents the double tapping the PS button to return to livearea to work when installed through the EasyInstaller, it keeps giving the error could not find the application.

double tap ps button does not allow me to return to live area
in fact I got "could not find the application" error

edit. not sure how I miss 2 posts above me that stating the same error
