Hacking adding a custom hd to an XDK

is it possible to add your own hd any size to an xdk unit like its possible with a jtag (just install, serial and go?) or does it require more steps.

Afaik, XDK doesn't care about the security sector, you should be able to install an up to 2 TB HDD in there.

a few more questions if you happen to know.
ive owned a jtag but not an xdk before.
this one boots to the xdk dash. do you know what path does it look for to show xexs?
it doesnt seem to boot retail discs so my question is, is there a specific type of disc they boot?

I have no clue where the filebrowser looks by default anymore.
There's a few ways to patch games to run on XDKs but running retail discs, that won't happen.
They don't care about signatures tho so homebrew can be ran.
