Hacking actionreplay with DSTT

Hi. Can anyone offer any advise concerning using the action replay with the DSTT. When using the action replay on the animal crossing original DS game works with no probs but when trying to use with the animal crossing on the DSTT can't get it to work. Have googled the problem and looked on some forums with no luck. Any help out there ?????. Thanks.

You know, DSTT ( and most other flashcarts) have a built in cheatengine, so you wont need the real actionreplay on the DSTT, just obtain a cheat.dat file (or USRCHEAT.dat) for Animal crossing, and you'r set.

the DSTT won't work with the encrypted cheat.DAT, so you'll need to use the usrcheat.dat

Umm... read the OP carefully before posting.

Animal Crossing cheats do not work with the Golden Finger AR.

Also, OP, you cannot use an Action Replay with the DSTT

now that you mention it, I do remember reading somewhere that flashcarts don't work with the AR.

Thanks for the replys. So the conclusion is that I can't use the action replay with the DSTT. It's just that on the DSTT website it states ...Supports Action Replay cheat and edit the code base.

You can use cheats with the TTDS, you don't need an Action Replay though.

And Animal Crossing cheats do not work with any flashcart.

The TTDS uses the Action Replay cheat format (usrcheat.dat file), but does not require an Action Replay cart.

animal crossing cheats work fine for me (i use a DSTT)

A lot of cheat issues that other carts have are non-existent with the Evolution. TeamCyclops built a custom cheat core for the Evolution instead of using the same one that most carts use.

Okay, on the DSTT screen, when you select the rom, highlight the game that you want to play, and and icon should appear on the right side of the selection. Tap it, and you should see a cheat tab. Tap that, select the cheats you want to use, tap save, and then start your game.

Make sure you have cheats enabled though, you can do that on the first tab of the game options screen as described above.

mines works on the ver 1.1 with the max bells and full account cheats on and thats it! plus i have to use the USA version..

same, use the v1.1 and use the cheats just like you normally would.
have experienced no trouble at all
