Hacking Hardware Action Replay Wii Troubleshooting

Hello all, I am having trouble getting Action Replay to work on the Nintendo Wii. I have purchased multiple copies of the action replay and have followed the instructions in the user manual as well as several tutorial videos but cannot get it to work. I have ensured that my wii is on the proper firmware (4.3) my date and time settings are accurate and im positive i entered my mac address properly during the setup process but in all cases the action replay doesn't show up in the wii message board as it is supposed to. I know gecko codes are a good alternative but i was really hoping to get the action replay up and running. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try going back a day or two in the Message Board, or look in the calendar to find a letter that says 'Action Replay Wii'.

This method is pretty outdated today, and cheats can be enabled using modern day alternatives such as Gecko or through USB loaders.
