Hacking Ack! My CycloDS USB Reader isn't doing anything!

When I inserted it in, nothing pops up! Did I insert the microSDHC in it the wrong way?

You shouldnt rely on those usb readers that comes with your flashcart. You should buy a good one.

I dont care. I just need to find out if I inserted my microSD the wrong way? How do you insert it? Man there needs to be a tutorial for us beginners or something.

UPDATE: Okay, I think I inserted it in right. But now it says that the card can't be formatted! WTF?

UPDATE 2: Alright, I got it working. Apparently I didnt push it in all the way through since I thought I might break it.

You shouldnt rely on those usb readers that comes with your flashcart. You should buy a good one.

Opposite for me lol. The adapter didn't work so I had to use the USB reader.

Usually the ones that come with the flash card work the best. At least the Transflash one included with the Cyclo works really well.

The CycloDS reader works pretty damn well for a freebie, it's a bit fickle to insert and remove the microSD card from, but if you do it right, it won't fail you.

Just be careful when it's plugged in. You don't want to accidently bump something and snap that microSD in half.
