If the XL comes with 1.4 ALL DSi Compatible cards will work (They have to be 1.4 compatible though obviously.)

Are you kidding? Out of the 18 people I know with a DS or a DSi only one of them buys retail games, that's in a sleepy little back water at the ass end of Australia and that's my brother. He's got more money than he knows what to do with anyway and he said something like "I think artists and game designers should be paid for what they do. They're not just alive to service you." Crazy talk I know and he's not even on drugs. I'm guessing it's a bit more widespread that you supposed but I don't have access to statistics or market surveys like I said I'm just guessing.

The Nintendo DSi XL system is planned to be released on March 5th in Europe for £179.95.

I am not sure if it was missed, but I have not seen a pre-order of the DSI XL at £179.95 anywhere. Firstly it would be .99 as it's very rare something is .95 here.

Everywhere I have looked it is priced at £149.99 and the DSi down to £139.99.

Nintendo's RRP for the DSi XL was £159.99.

i think nintendo are still thinking how to abolish it and they seem to be losing... its good for piraters actually
well all carts will work but since Acekard is "Ace" hence its the only one reported

If the European version doesnt have any new firmware update is it safe to assume the US release won't have a new update either? I have the AceKard 2.1 with the 1.4 fix already on it so I am hoping that the new DSI XL when its released in the US won't have any new update..if it doesnt then I am going to purchase it

Great news. That's exactly the flashcart I got. Game's got offer where they will give you £80 off from the price of DSi XL if you bring your DSi. Haven't still really decided this though. The color's are horrid in my eyes.

Can you post a link to that thread..there are many DSI XL threads here so I don't know which one you are referring to. Since it comes out in Europe this Friday, I guess its safe to assume if the European version has 1.4E then the US version will also have 1.4..at least I hope so

Edit: Ok I found it..I really hope the US version has 1.4 as well. I am SO gonna order this since I have a DS Lite so this would be a major upgrade for me
