Hacking Acekard 2i not working a DS Lite.

So i got an Acekard 2i from here http://www.volumerate.com/details.vr/sku.18728#.

Im inserting the flashcart into the slot 1 but my DS Lite isn't detecting it.
I already tried the Paper Trick but it still isnt working.

Did i get a fake or isnt the Flashcart making enough contact with my ds?

WHat do you mean by doesn't work? Do you get an error message? Are you putting in the card and ur ds is not detecting it?

I don't think the OP could make it any clearer.

As for an actual solution to your problem, more paper trick or try different kinds like in tk_saturn's guide. The Acekard not showing up in the DS menu means its not making enough contact.

Well, i tried the unbricking process just in case it was bricked and when im supposed to insert the flash cart im using (an EZ Flash V+ by the way) and insert my AceKard 2i, , insert it and press b but nothing happens, im starting to think this isnt a contact issue and it's instead a hardware issue.
