Hacking Acekard 2i messed up?

Basically whenever I update beyond AKAIO 1.8.1 the whole system freezes when I try to access the rom menu. there is also another problem that happens no matter which version of AKAIO I use the problem is when I try to access the cheats when there is a game with a game id higher than 5000 in the cheat file it locks my system completely up, the only thing that works is the clock. I tried to delete the stuff in the CC folder and then adding the cheats all over again, but it only works just once and then the system locks up once again. Does that mean that I need a new Acekard 2i?

1) Back up your ROMS and SAVs.
2) Use the Panasonic formatter on your MicroSD
3) Download the latest version of AKAIO from the attached link
4) Extract file, copy all contents to the formatted MicroSD.
5) Return your ROMS and SAVs back on the root of the MicroSD.
6) Check if it works. If it doesn't, odds are you have a fake 'cause I think there's something about AKAIO 1.8.1+ that checks whether the card is an original or not.
Believe me, try those steps. They might not look so convincing at first but whenever I had ANY Acekard problems, this thing solved it.
Also, try redownloading your ROMS because the Acekard has a small chance of randomly corrupting them sometimes.

Try updating your AKAIO to 1.8.5. If it doesn't work, try 1.8.5a.

I have already attempted the whole panasonic sd formatter thing already and it didn't work, as for updating as I stated, it happens when I am on 1.8.5/5a
