whats the diference, and what i choice?

not sure about the difference but I would just use the plain old DSorganize.nds Exeriment with both and see what happens

OK, I need a little help here with some information. I just got an DSi with an Acekard 2i and I'm confused on the different software being discussed here.

First off, what exactly is AKAIO? I tried going to the Wiki, but there's a message stating that it is down for maintenance. So it is a replacement dash/firmware for the official firmware? The AK2i seems to be running fine with the official firmware, but if there is some reason to be using AKIAO then i certainly want to be using it. Second, what is the AKAIO Wifi plugin? What does it do? Third, what is the akloader?

Basically, I just need a quick run down and what these are and why I should be using them. I'm not completely new to this type of stuff, just new to the DSi and Acekards. So I just need basic info to get me caught up.

AKAIO is a public source of the acekard system. So developers can modify and add some nice things to it. People here suggests to use it because it's faster than the normal Acekard OS and it has much more capabilities. "It features better compatibility, more options, more behind the scenes optimizations, better 3in1 support, anti-piracy patching, WI-FI updates, multiple patching methods, faster directory scrolling, more soft-reset fixes, a rewritten cheat engine, an active development team, and much more."

About the wifi plugin...cant help.

The loaders seems to make the acekard more compatible with games and homebrew, son you don't have any kind of errors during gameplay.

Hi so i have an r4ultra, and im trying to load acekard on it.

Ive been trying for a while, but whenever i turn my ds lite back on, it gets stuck on "Loading...".


On my microsd i have the _aio folder and the akmenu4.nds like u said, as well as my ROMs folder labelled NDSroms.

the only thing ive touched in the _aio folder is putting ak2loader.nds in the loaders folder as instructed.
pls help me
