Hacking acekard 2i connectivity errors

I recently bought an acekard 2i. I had it working and everything but now wont recognize it and if it does it gets an error. When I insert it make a loud click and when I try to take it out it takes more force than it should. I can get my sd card to work on my friends kart.

Do you mean that the Acekard does not recognize your micro sd? Make sure there is nothing jammed inside the cart. Take a look. Have you tried other micro sd cards?

this is a well documented and known problem, the ak2i has serious contact issues. you will want to slip a thin bit of paper behind the PCB (between the board and the shell) to "raise" the contacts a bit. try with a tin slice of magazine paper and go up in thickness if you need it. do not over do it as you could bend the slot-1 contacts.
