Hacking Acekard 2i 3DS update

MOds should change first post with, "UPDATE ONLY WORKING WITH ACEKARD HW 81, ACEKARD HW 44 NOT WORKING"

Hold on, I'm pretty sure my Acekard HW was 44... it worked for me...

First check then answer please. All the ones with problems have hw44 included me.

i have dsi 1.4.1E acecard 2i akaio v1.8.5 HW:81 SVN: 1034 will the update work on it ? and 3ds ? and which one is good for it ?

Yes, it will work since the HWID is 8181. To obtain the update, use the link given in the OP.

Tried with 2 HW81 perfect, tried with hw 44 black screen. Even another one with a japanese console tried with a HW 44 and same black screen. Can you upload a pic of your 3ds showing hwid in akaio?

You should update it in dslite or dsi it doesnt care. Put the dsi file in the flashcart, boot the flashcartcart and run the file.

You can remove teh file and update to last akaio 1.8.6a

Both, remove it and (idk why u call it update) keep using AKAIO

Just saying it worked fine for me.

Irrelevant, but my AKAIO is 1.8.6a
DSL is what I used
HWID: 81, but read as 8181 in the update.

I put the DSL.nds file from the official acekard website on the microSD, booted it like any NDS game, it told me to eject and put in the card again. Did that without powering down, pressed B to continue, pressed start to understand it might brick the acekard, about 20 seconds later, done. ^^

No 3DS itself yet, so I can't test it on one.

you have to find someone with an earlier ds to flash it

it will take less than a minute to do it
