Hacking Acekard 2 FAT Error

Hello,

My acekerd is now more than one year old (5/2008) and it no longer start up

I get the message "FAT Error" !!!!
Is my acecard 2 "bricked" or there is something that could be done to repair it ?

Well all I can say is copy the files to your computer from your sd card
format the sd card with panasonic formatter
then put the files back then try it.

If it doesn't work then it's a bad acekard
because it has bad connection

Also there's a way to get the connection to fix. I'm not sure if it work but try this way if formatting doesn't work

I'm not sure if it works for acekard but it's a try and I don't think acekards can be open so just put the paper
outside. Watch the video for how long it's should be

you have an original ak2, the one that pre-dates the 2.1 upgrade? if so what is the color of the pcb? the fat error card issue was close to 2 years ago. it is possible your card, if it is an original, as finally died. sadly acekard only has a 1yr warranty. try things that have been suggested and see if you can fix the issue with a new msd, formats, etc. if not then spend the $12 at dealextreme on a new acekard 2.1!

thank you both for your replys. I think it's a pre 2.1 ak2 version (it has a green pcb).
I've tryed to format the sd card and re install software but to no avail. I think it's definitely dead

Yea, you should probably buy an acekard2i now, looks like the bad batch is gone, recieved another one yesterday and it works great.
