Actually this type of game could be very interesting in PSVR.

Mmmmmmm Ace Combat sounds like an incredible VR game. It's like a VR rollercoaster on steroids lol. Between this and the new Monster Hunter, a PS4 is becoming more and more appealing...

The first VR game I am actually interested in... Not enough to buy a VR set though

Flight sim's seem like they would be the obvious choice to sell VR to the early adopter crowd. They are used to paying absurd amounts of money on flight sticks and multiple monitors so buying a headset to get even more immersive would sell.

So what of this trailer was actual gameplay? Flight sims like this are fun if done right, but did they really need to focus on crappy cutscenes and story for this trailer? Will probably end up a mediocre game.

If the purpose Bandai Namco was to sell a PSVR to me, they are doing quite well.
I don't even have a PS4 but now I am thinking of buying both that and a PSVR.
They sure accomplished more than what Sony could in the marketing department.

It's because long time fans already expect a quality game and are more interested to see where Skies Unknown ties in with the rest of the story
