i deleted the channel using the wii system menu by mistake.

is there anyway to get the channel back without using the twilight hack again?

i still have backup launcher channel 0.2 if that could be used.

Can you not just copy it back over from an sd card? I don't think that deletion from wii sysmenu will clear the ticket, so I think you should be able to just copy it over.

You can try to copy this to /private/wii/title/HAXX and then hopefully be able to copy it back to wii sysmenu.

You can maybe (probably) use the backup launcher to load a backup of zelda and run twilight hack that way.

?? All of those things do not require HBC or Zelda. Either copying the channel back from the SD card or using a TP backup would work (he has the backup loader channel still installed).

howd you install it the first time?

also maybe you can use the installer iso with the backup launcher

when i first installed the HBC i only borrowed a copy of zelda so dont have that to hand at the moment.

i had the new launcher 0.3 running under homebrew but not as a channel. i do still have backup launcher 0.2 as a channel, hopefully that will still work.

jan777 - what is the installer iso and where would i get that from?

OneUp - copying the channel from my SD card sounds very promising. has anyone done this before?

the installer iso can be downloaded from the official homebrew channel website, it is just a dvd installer, by passing the need to use the zelda exploit. so assuming you have a loader still as a channel, you should be able to burn the installer to dvd and run it through the loader.

oneup - copying from the SD card did not work. i got an error saying that i could not copy the channel to my wii. i guess this is because the copy of the channel did not originate from my wii

the homebrew channel iso file worked perfectly.

i guess i was lucky that i still had a backup launcher channel working

thanks to all for your help.

just download a copy of zelda and use it with the loader then install the HBC useing that.
