I don't spend so much time on this anymore. But I can try to guide you on something, although I no longer have access to any content for this game.

While there's some "details" that look more clean, others, like the color intensity (saturation) have suffered a lot.

It can be seen on your first image, where the red glows are almost gone.

In general, I wouldn't say those are an improvement.

Hello there!

I re-open this thread to know how to edit texture_pack.cpio and edit languages for SM64, and edit textures for Sunshine and Galaxy (If possible)
Texture replacement remained as a prototype, I did not continue it due to the small number of HAGI-based titles and the difficult access to NS Hardware at the moment.

Even if GameCube were to return as a Classic Console for NS2, modification would not be viable at this time.

PD: Another thing, finding the identifier names to replace textures had to be played and reached that point, which made it more difficult to find that texture and its data.

With the release of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 I've been thinking:
Is it possible to somehow port the files (romfs) from the new version to 3D All-Stars?

I've had this thought: Could the new version's files be ported to 3D All-Stars somehow?

I've tried doing this myself with my limited knowledge of the subject, and I've found that the translation files (each with their own "LayoutData" and "MessageData" folders) don't work, or the "texture_replace" folder inside "data" causes the game to revert to its original Wii textures.

Could anyone else continue this research and see if they get any results?

I'm checking the SMG2 ROM, I'll have to use emu, then I'll come back to see what's new

I can't access the memory from the emulator with the values I was looking for. So I'd better leave it like this. Perhaps it can be accessed from Edizon in the console.

Another thing, you can't delete existing textures in har-hix, these are Wii games, so you won't get the textures from a ROM like Sunshine because they don't exist and will cause a crash.
