Hacking About PSVITA production

Hey, i'm planning on getting a PSVITA for christmas, and i know its production has stopped, but i want to know if i buy it will it be at OFW 3.60? I want to hack it, since i live in Brazil and things are damn expensive (especially games). Please respond me for real. Thanks in advance.

Any "new" PSVita outside of Japan comes with <3.60.

DinohScene is right, plus the fact a Vita 1000 motherboard with low firmware is less than 30 dollars from China

Swapping out the motherboard is possible on both Slim and Phat, but it shouldn't be needed if you purchase a new Vita outside of Japan.

Unless you're extremely unlucky and somehow obtain a brand new JAP Vita, which I highly doubt.

This may be a dumb question, but can it come with a firmware below 3.60? If it's below, can i still hack it? BTW Thanks for the replies.

1- Yes

2- No, only 3.60 exactly can run Henkaku, but you can easily update any lower version to 3.60 with the Henkaku DNS or a computer with QCMA
