Is there a way to turn off Ocarina Codes for games while in a game?

that I won't say since they are in very limited quantity just about everywhere you look, and since alot of developers in the wii scene either need to replace a gecko, or just need to get one, some random noob clicking a link and buying one for the hell of it would be a total waste.
