If you're having trouble with the guide, please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of each of the tools in the guide. If you use a version your downloaded a few days ago or more, that's going to be why it's not working....

EDIT: 3 PARTS AND THEY ARE ALL MUCH SHORTER???? The first part is just getting into decrypt9. The second part is clicking an option deceypt9 and the last part is just copying a bunch of files, going to a website and clicking select and a few other buttons for other things. Damn this has changed!

I've tested it, very slick.

Definitely a major improvement on the old guide, far more an improvement than I originally expected.

I like how the "guide" doesn't say what it is for, not all of us have psychic powers you know,
how about a better title or something so noobs (you know the people who use guides) can

I just wish there was less warning about brick, i know is impossible to assure saftey but it sounds more expressive and easier to do with the current revision. "DON'T USE SLEEP MODE, YOU WILL BRICK" Okay i got it O_O

I remember when bricking was just the 9.2 downgrade, or the wrong otp and nand backups.

On topic, if you're downgrading to 9.2 on an n3ds you should probably still format to avoid a softbrick, but other than that nope!

Hrmmm... I'm actually kinda keen on installing A9LH now.

Just wondering though, if my EmuNAND is 11.0 already, is it safe to install that straight up in Part 3, Section IV?

so a9hl installation works now from 4.5 without upgrade first to 9.2? this way I might get a9hl after all.

I'm not sure, but even if you had to, you make a backup before you start, which you restore when you finish so you don't lose anything.
