Is there any way of disabling the ‘X’ button (besides opening the DS and cutting the wire) so it can’t be used to delete files from the main menu when using Ysmenu?
No matter how many times you tell them not to use the X button to load games they just don’t get it!!!!

Open the YSMenu.ini file. Look for this section -

CODE; Disable File Deletion
NO_DEL=false

Change false to true. Save the .ini file. Bob's your uncle.

Thanks for the info Depravo, it works a treat and will save me a lot of under my breath swearing!!

Depravo or anyone else who can help answer. A friend recently got an R4SDHC which is working with keranl V1.32. Trouble is they can't play some of the games that I can using YSMenu and the DSTT1.7a12 firmware which I have on my original R4. Is there a version of YSmenu that will work on their R4SDHC? I tried copying my version onto their card but it just sits on the 'Loading' screen.

a2h,
does the new 1.5.3 have the newest DSTT Kernel 1.17a12?

At the time of release there was no version without a fake-killer, or I wasn't looking hard enough, so no.

If there is one I'll add it into a 1.5.4

I am getting an error message when launching the Nintendo Kanji Dictionary (Kanji Sonomama DS Rakubiki Jiten). The error is "Rom loading failed, disk errcode=82."

This ROM used to load fine with the official R4 firmware. I am using the original non-clone R4 card.

Do you have a release date for this?

My program is a rewrite of r4ysauto in C# with additional changes and a GUI.

Oh, alright... I'm not sure about what might be causing it, sorry

Since the R4YSAuto thread has been unstickied, I vote this thread to be stickied as replacement.

I agree and suggested this a couple of times. Maybe more requests will help:

PLEASE STICKY this wonderful app.

I've also PM'ed Toni Plutonij a request for it.

I've tried but I failed.
Never even got a response.
Go figure.

Wel, if you sent Toni a Pm you won't get a response, because it is well known @ GBAtemp that is taking a break from here for a while (for personal reasons, obviously). Best you PM another staff member, should this matter be really chewin' at your balls!

I've tried the new v1.5.3 and there is still an issue with it. It halts with a "Error: processing stopped at step "Creating working directory..."" unless infolib.dat is in root of the unzipped folder. This was without the cheats database, but with all boot types.

Should a TTMENU.SYS be created?

It would also be nice if the readme.txt told you which file to run, although you can work it out.
