Just got a wii with a strange problem...
When I go to the agreement thing and say yes to use wii connect 24 it says connecting to the internet and then says *Unable to use wii connect 24*,
My thought is that this wii has been banned by ninty for hacking online?.

    whats the error code?

If its 20102 then yes and you deserve it as its only issued when cheating online and Ninty wont ban you in any another way, shape or form for no reason

Its not when I'm trying to get online with games,
Its when I'm in the settings and I go to internet>Agreements and click ok,

did you accept the EULA before modding your wiii?
    is your wii region changed?

try installing the latest EULA v2 from NUS

This wii hasn't been hacked or modded...
Its a legit wii as far as I know,
It was bought off ebay though.

you didnt answer the questions but if its off Ebay then you wouldn't know if anyone else has already messed with it, more to the point you haven't even said what version wii it is or region of it, once agian try updating the "EULA" then accept it using the settings

When you hit accept to agree to the licence it tries to connect to the internet so will rely on your internet settings being set up already. I take it you have checked you have connectivity?
