Hi i bought a psp go from a random person on the internet with 6.60
and cfw 6.60 PRO-B Fast Recovery

However i wanna make this permanent and i understand that 6.60 permanent can be buggy so i wanna downgrade to 6.20 and install 6.20 cfw on it
But i dont know if i should because i dont know if it came out the box as 6.60 or 6.20
I love this thing and i dont wanna screw it up but isnt permanent cfw better? then to use a quick install each time?
It says Model 05g under mac adress and it is a PSP go N1004
PSPIdent wont work on it (i thought that might give me some answers)

Do you guys know if i can install permanent cfw on this psp go?
And does non-permanent cfw damage the psp?

Thank you!

6.60 Perm doesn't work on the Go anyways. It only works on PSP models that can take a cIPL, which is only the 1000 and earlier 2000 ones.

All the Go models we've ever seen came with less than 6.00 out of the box, so go ahead and do the 6.20 downgrade.

The 6.20 "permanent" install is the same CFW as the temp version, it just boots into hacked mode automatically, saving you a few seconds.

"Non-perm" CFW is still installed to flash0 and such, the difference nowadays is just whether it boots automatically or not.

The non perm version feels like flip top for the ps2
Is there any way to check for sure if my psp go did came out the box without 6.60?

! Read the guide again, since its 05g it can be downgraded YAY!

Formatting now Thank you for writing the guide will follow every step accurately!
