Hacking Discussion A single payload injection - multiboot approach?

So this is up for discussion as I think it would be a fantastic feature.

A single payload to take you into a bootloader (thinking u-boot / grub etc) where you could then choose what to launch.

E.g:
* Lakka
* Atmosphere
* Linux

Essentially a one way injection that could then launch different payloads stored on the SD - a one stop point.

Caveats

You'd still have to use RCM at the mo so still tethered until reboot. Rebooting a system you're in would require re-injection. Maybe a way round this not to cold boot but to go back into boot menu?

That's the ultimate goal of hekate.
A good bootloader must let the loading of other payloads from the menu, like TWRP with kexec in android.

My bad - didn't see that. But yes that would ultimately be fantastic allowing that. Greater flexibility what you want to launch from one payload.
