wii games... i could only find 383 pal disc games... then there were all the gc games of course... but inclusive wiiware i think for just wii i could not get past 430 games... then agan... with all emulators and so on i ended up with about 80.000 games...i had about 500 games, including wii wares, and AAA title,s drive was 500gb.
Do that, partition it for 500 max, 500 is way to much for wii games, and i dont think you can play them all.3TB is but I don't want to have to buy a new hardrive, I'd rather much partition a 3TB I already own (which is the smallest space I have)

1 tb is enoughDo that, partition it for 500 max, 500 is way to much for wii games, and i dont think you can play them all.

intotal full zip of wii isos are actully something like 925 gbthat's a waste.

could get you an error for gc games though... 2 tb hdd was a limit that s3TB is but I don't want to have to buy a new hardrive, I'd rather much partition a 3TB I already own (which is the smallest space I have)
2 tb is max and siince wii, emulator and gc run good from fat32 64/32k, sorry i don't remember the perfect settings for gc... you'll only need to find a way to get it all working since i had have bad experience with gc games on a 3tb hdd, couldn't get it running no matter how i formatted or partitionized it... my 2 tb drive though worked fine.Do that, partition it for 500 max, 500 is way to much for wii games, and i dont think you can play them all.
what are you talking about? if you remove all unused space in the iso's you get it unpacked for 481gbintotal full zip of wii isos are actully something like 925 gb

No no, you get me wrong lol, i mean "partition it 500 max", as dont go highger that that, having 200+ wii games its a total waste of resources.2 tb is max and siince wii, emulator and gc run good from fat32 64/32k, sorry i don't remember the perfect settings for gc... you'll only need to find a way to get it all working since i had have bad experience with gc games on a 3tb hdd, couldn't get it running no matter how i formatted or partitionized it... my 2 tb drive though worked fine.
you can get all wii iso's at 481gb? awesome.
Again, appreciate all the help!
I have a 4TB Drive on my Wii and everything works perfectly. Just be sure to format the entire drive to FAT32 with 64k Clusters (32k clusters doesn't work on a drive that big). I have heard of a 2TB limit for GameCube games but from what I understand its only if the the games are installed beyond the 2 TB mark on a drive. Not sure if that is still the case but just to be sure what I did after I formatted my drive was to put all my GameCube games on first and then everything else after. If you need any more help on getting everything to work on a drive that big just let me know and I will give you a hand.3TB is but I don't want to have to buy a new hardrive, I'd rather much partition a 3TB I already own (which is the smallest space I have)

Is that in response to my post? Do you still need help with something?now i think im syduck....

There's a link to the drive I have. It works perfect for me except for one thing. For whatever reason it doesn't get recognized when the Wii turns on. But I have a real simple work around that causes the Wii to reboot and then it will work. Basically it just involves me clicking on the USB Loader GX forwarder twice. If that is the drive you decide to go with and you have the same issue that I do let me know and I will tell you how to get it to work. But other than that minor issue I've played Wii, GameCube, WiiWare, Virtual Console and emulators all from this hard drive with no issues.
