Sorry. Title is kind of wrong as I managed to backup to just black screen

Sorry also for maybe bad English I’m Italian.

I haven’t use my Switch since i think May, my most recent backups are April which is the backup I’m trying to get to work. I simply followed the instructions I followed a lot of times In the past with copying/overwriting the Atmosphere and Hekate files over the old April backup.

Whenever I tried to boot into Atmosphere I just got the black screen. I hope it’s something simple I just forget to copy but can’t work it out so I’m here.

I saved my Pokemon saves which is all I get my Switch back out for, so I don’t really mind I have to delete everything else and restart. Just want to be able to play with PKHex again. Thanks

EDIT: If I launch into EmuMMC it says the game card cannot be read, this helps maybe work out the issue?

Is your Sys and EmuNand of the same version ?

If not: To read game cards properly, both need to be on a -not to far away from each other- version.

Try updating the Emunand (Daybreak)

Also, try replacing your atmosphere folder with a clean one.

If nothing else, you can use hekate to 'recreate' the Emunand.
(Beware the dataloss however)

I’m not really sure, it’s been so long now and I’m not very smart with it all anyway :’)

It all went wrong when I updated the Switch to the latest version for Pokemon Home.

Would it be maybe easier to just start from scratch? I don’t mind losing data, none of it was too hard to replace. Thanks
