A Change Has Occurred

First I'd like to start off by saying half of me has been changed. Basically, I've noticed that I've been a dick since...pretty much since I became active on the forum 9 months ago. Well, for the most part, that side of me is dead. I've never gone out of my way to sound like a jerk, but it ends up happening, and I've always thought this was unintentional and just happened based on what I was responding to. Then I thought about, and that's complete BS. See, until recently I was rather detached from the community that is GBAtemp, I was cold to people and didn't take their feelings into account because I didn't know them, and for that reason I didn't honestly care if I sounded like a cruel dick to them, and that was completely wrong of me. The reason I became self-aware was because of another member by the name of Old8oy, who recently blocked me because I made a few really mean comments in his recent blog that I deeply regret, they were going to far considering the state he was in, and if he ever reads this, I apologize. I asked why he didn't like me, honestly at the time I really didn't care, and first he said a few things that weren't true, and I could tell he didn't actually mean them. However, he was clearly in a rather depressed state, and that's when I noticed I act like this to pretty much every member of the temp. Anyway, I just want to say that the dick, insensitive, ignorant jerk machomuu is gone forever, I've been doing some self-analysis and basically changing the things about me that I don't like. So I hope the very few, if any of you that actually care will welcome this new member to the community.

Also, sorry for the frequent use of the word "dick", but it's the best and most accurate word to describe how I was.

I can't say that's wrong either. While I wouldn't say I was harmless, I was an idiot for many reasons. One of the bigger reasons for this was because I was a hypocrite. One thing I really hate is ignorance (in certain cases, by definition it's neither an insult nor a negative), but I was pretty ignorant. While I can't say I'm against hypocrites in general, in this case it's something I truly hated about myself.

I edited my post, though you were annoying me with you're whole going about the situation. Or, more precisely, the way you post it and how you reacted to it, just annoyed me. Also, I never said you were a pirate. It's really me wondering if you know what you're talking about

Plus, I do find you to be an annoying person in this case, but I didn't feel like saying it. Quite frankly I can't say I care for your feelings, I'm just being frank. Quote me, better to have my words immortalized forever than to be lost to the hidden cabinets that are cached pages.
