guys, the 9800gt is the same as the 8800gt. It's just marketing. benchmarks show the same performance. It has the same chipset, same memory clock, core clock etc everything is the same apart from one thing - the 9800gt has the ability to use much less power if you're not gaming (provided your mobo supports the feature), and it comes with different freebies. However, there is a 9800gt which comes with a zalman fan - that one is better than the 8800gt. look at this for example: http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?ca...4&card2=575

The 9600gt is a low end card and is much slower than the mid end 8800gt/9800gt. high end is like 9800gtx+, ultra high is the 200 series.

i'm still happy with my 8800GT SLI setup.

We've been testing the 4870 x2 for the last couple of days. It's fast. Really fast.

The highest 3d Mark 06 score we'd manage up to this point was about 19,000. We broke the 21,000 point with the 4870 x2.

Oh, forget that. I thought it was like £200-300. Still, it's expected of a card like that I guess.
I expect the 4850 x2 will be more in that league. As soon as I've tried one I'll report back!
