Man, DiabloStorm you're still here? How the hell can you stay on a forum like this and continue posting for hours on end? Jeez. O_O Even I'm not that dedicated.

Some of those things have always baffled me. The number of items per screen may be small, but introducing folders pretty much nullifies the problem of having a lot of them and further software updates will surely improve the situation further, and while the chosen storage medium's sole purpose was to "bounce back" from selling the console at a low price point (considering the hardware inside of it, it is low), the 1 account per system... never bothered me? It's a handheld - how many users do you expect it to have? Why would you want to share it? Neither of those issues were ever "cringeworthy" to me - you only buy a memory card *once* and Sony tosses a lot of free content at you to make the purchase worth-while. There's a lot of Free2Play on the system and not all of it is of poor quality y'know. Besides, PSPlus alone "returned" the money I spent on the subscription and the memory card within the first few months of using the system - right now I have too many games and too little time. :P

It is the way the firmware was set up.

You can put them into folders, it doesn't allow for it.

The Vita mp3 limit is 4000: http://kotaku.com/5985080/at-least-...y-for-a-small-but-misleading-vita-description

From what I know about it, the Vita ignores folders and displays all of them unless your viewing by playlist.

It is all about the scale, what you consider alot, is in all likelyhood maybe a day or 2 at the most for someone else.

Aside from all of that price going down can be either low sales and wanting to get rid of inventory or the production cost dropped to a lower level.

That really isn't good man, seriously. :( I would totally suggest that you take a day or two off and just relax a bit. This debate isn't going anywhere, and we've been circlejerking and ending up at the same spot every single time.

We're most likely going to be going in circles until concrete evidence arrives in the form of Devin's review or elsewhere. :P LOL I stopped responding at around 2PM and it's 7 and you're still knocking out responses. Either a) you're dedicated to the subject or b) you need to see some more sun. :D No offense man, hell, part of me is applauding how long you can stay on the temp for a given period of time. :D I'd probably go a little bit crazy. :(

'Tis summer over here, nice enough to do laps at the pool. :D And fuck, I've completely derailed this topic, and for that I apologize.

I just wanna submit my two cents and just say what's been said about fifteen times now, and that's patience, most first generation flash carts cost somewhere in the hundreds, and its overall worth will be decided when Devin makes the review. Honestly, I think it'd be better to just shut the thread down for a few days/week until the time is right to reopen again.

Lol IDK why it hasn't been locked yet.

It seriously feels like we've gone around in circles from pages 5-12 and ended at the same point like four times.

TC: Is the Gateway worth $80?

Repliers: No, and now I'm gonna tell you how the free market works as proof.

I was up to date on this topic in the morning, and 7 pages later here we are. Luckily, I have nothing to do, so at least I got something to read~

As excited as I am by the prospects, I've decided to wait for a month after release to see how everything shakes out. As for the price, I was expecting 50-75, so I'm not really surprised.

My god i stopped posting around the time when attempting to reason with a brick wall was getting annoying. I went to work, and blam 7 more pages to read >.>. Kinda glad life kicked in around that time as well, was getting bored staring at the brick wall. I applaud Foxi4 for having WAY more patients then me.

I think we can all agree, that since this is the first cart of its kind, the price tag is arguable. However, what we do not know is how long it will take to improve on this current technology. The idea was that the 3DS was super hard to crack to begin with as it was. How long will it take to even improve on this crack, even if that is possible. I'm not supporting the price tag of $80, however history has shown this is actually below the average of a First Gen Flashcart, so this is actually reasonable. Waiting for a bit more time to pass (2-6 months) for a price drop is also reasonable.

The question on this thread was, is it worth it. That is a difficult question to answer without actually arguing millions of points.
The best answer possible is, it depends on your situation, and if you want it RIGHT NOW or MAYBE LATTER.
