Nah they still have 50 odd fuses left.
My guess from what I've seen devs talk about, is they kept the same master key so they decided not to burn.
I'm surprised they even went with a big 8.0, but I guess it's because of the VR stuff.
It's also a major update in terms of security fixes I guess.
SciresM confirmed no new fuse burned, fwiw.
