Well, i must be lucky! (although i'm usualy quite the opposite).
My aim: to reach 1000 posts by 30th April. (join date last year) that's gonna be though... better start spamming!

on a seperate note: does anyone know if it's possible to RUN (not install) ubuntu from a USB stick? If so how much room does it take?

Yeah, you can run it off of the USB stick like the livecd. And you can set up some persistent storage, so about the size of the ISO + however much storage you want.

ahh thanks i thouhgt you might be able to. sorry i'm really lazy tonight, do you know how big the iso is? i only need it to run at school, if it works it'll be great. i found a computer with no bios password so i can re-order the boot sequence.

About 700 megish, So you want at least a gig flash drive.

Yay! So it'll fit on my 2GB USB. And thanks for the link, i presume i NEED that for it to work?

Makes it really easy to make the bootable USB. Just select the distro and your flash drive and it downloads everything and installs it for you.
