Hacking 7.2 2ds help please

so I'm trying to install rxtools on my 2ds on 7.2 firmware I'm following the tut that's on this site but I'm having some issues... When I try to install pasta cfw it just makes my 2ds freeze with black screens until I hold down the power button also when I try to install fbi.cia I am having an issue where I can't install it.. All in all I'm completely lost and really could

Do you mind posting the error description at least? "Having an issue where I can't install it" isn't very descriptive...

If you can't use PastaCFW ypu can also do this:

1)Put the rxTools files in your SD card.
2)Launch rxTools from the web browser.
3)Open the menu by pressing L or R (depeniding on your build).
4)Boot rxMode in sysnand.
5)Open Ninjhax + FBI
6)Install FBI.cia

Sorry I was just following the tut that's floating around here and it says I need to install pasta before rxtools but if it's not needed then I should skip this step?

You can't just open Ninjhax and start installing cias.

You need PastaCFW or other CFW that can boot into sysnand.

Follow what I said above.

PastaCFW is the easy way to install things into sysnand, but not the only one.
