Hardware 60GB Backwards compatible flashing red

My Playstation 3 60GB have recently started to get a flashing red light.

When pressing the power ON button, it goes green (for a short time) - yellow (for a short time) - flashing red.

Do anyone know some common problems that can make it happen? The warranty is out so i'm open for ideas and fixes.

usually its heat related issues, if you search a bit you can find some tutorials to fix it, you probably will need to use thermal paste...
