There's one, but it "just" change the framerate cap to 60.
So there are issues, like :

- Movement on battlemap is at 2x speed
- Menus are at 2x speed
- Character movement while exploring maps after battle is also at 2x speed.
- No idea about actual character attacks, hard to say tbh

It becomes a pain to move your char on the battlemap, so I prefer to stay at 30fps for now, while we hopefully get a proper 60fps mod

Why do so many games chain speed to framerate?

Because it's less taxing on CPU to use fixed timings. It makes sense to use it only if you don't target PC and you're sure your game will deliver consistent performance (f.e. Animal Crossing)

If you can't fix the speed up issue in FE:E with 60fps, I guess nobody can

I think if MRComputerRevo still active doing patch stuff, probably masagrator can fix it. He helps masagrator before with FE Three houses.

But too bad he isn't active anymore.

It's another engine, it's now Unity
and afaik changinf the framerate cap is way easier than patching things like menu speed or other stuff

I didn't notice acceleration at the beginning in engage. It didn't seem to happen in the battle performance, but it was very fast in the menu, which forced me to turn on v-sync again to return to 30FPS (I didn't use cheat, but disabled v-sync, because disabling v-sync in FE Warriors in 2017 can reach 60FPS without acceleration)

I have a different problem. While my PC Rig could easily run it at 60 fps, after a while i get those annoying lags in between whenever i change to another character, the scene or battle. Anyone has an idea what it could be?

Any help on this matter is appreciated. Thank you
I turned off Freesync on my monitor too.

I can't even install this cheat on atmosphere because Edizon in the tesla menu crashes and won't open back up unless you restart the switch. Seen other people on YT with the same issue.

So I found a way to fix the issue via YouTube. Also, it seems that the cheats for the game so far are not for the US region as the build ID's are different.

I found a solution that you can disable vsync and limit fps to 40 in NVIDIA control panel.
It will feel much smoother than 30 fps and running without frustrating 2x speed UI problem.
You can also get more clear graphcis since 40 fps will have lower chance to trigger dynamic resolution.
