90DNS stops all communications with any Nintendo based server. However if you have the nag that means the update is already downloaded

Correct, though you can clear the download by going into the console recovery mode, not RCM

At the moment - yes.

An update will come out to fix this but it could be a week+ before anything is actually discovered and implemented.

You can still use OFW but CFW is off the table until this new generator system is RE'd .

It burns fuses so no recovery. Unless you have done it without burning

No. Once that update is installed - that's it. That update is there for now on. Factory resetting it is only going to delete your data, not the OS.

Do you know how trivial it would be for them to hardcode a dns server? They could easily bypass 90dns for things like sending error reports or triggering ban flags.

Examples of this have already existed for years. The YouTube app is a great example.

The youtube app has been patched I'm sure if they hard coded a dns server if it was booted in cfw that could also be patched

Then one day you accidently boot into ofw and banned (or updated) because 90dns couldn't protect you.
