Anybody watching right now?
LL COOL J just gave a prayer for Whitney Houston.

I know, I know, there is a lot of people that thinks that all commercial music is from sell outs and suit and tie executives with money and no brains. But still, some of the new singers (like Adele) deserve to be rewarded.

You can watch the show here: http://www.grammy.com/live, also if you have an iPad you can use this app and if you have an Android device, this one.

Edit: Added links for the show.

I'm watching on live stream since God knows how it's not broadcasted live over here. Waiting for Hudson and Chaka Khan's performance.

Foo Fighters won two awards. Dave Grohl is happy, guess I should be happy for him.

Hope Dream Theater wins the best hard rock/metal performance. Actually, FF and Megadeth would be good too.

The Grammys is basically a clown show, but it would be great if DT wins some mainstream recognition that has been long overdue.

According to wikipedia (?) My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy beat Watch The Throne for best rap album. As someone who knows something about rap, I have to say that is strange...

@[member='Domination']: Most awards shows are clown shows aren't they? And why are like, 2 year old albums being nominated...

Taylor Swift!!!!! She is looking good, thou very, very un sexy.
Adele just won Song of the Year!

LOL Katy Perry just gave me two great reasons to watch her performance!

Looking at the awards, it seems the Grammy's were just a big Adele circlejerk with some other shitty artists earning multiple awards and nominations.

>kanye west, 7 nominations
>bruno mars, 6 nominations
>skrillex, 5 nominations
>lil wayne, 5 nominations

Just further showing that award shows are all about advertising and money anymore...:/

The person with the highest acclaimed album of the year and one of the highest acclaimed albums of the century doesn't deserve to be nominated? Are you shitting me? If anything, his lacking a best album nomination was a crime.

MBDTF is EXTREMELY acclaimed, a commercial success, and hailed as possibly the greatest rap album of the century thus far. Watch The Throne is a fantastic album, but it can't compete with that kind of pedigree, regardless of whatever anyone thinks is better.

I think you're getting the two confused. Watch the Throne is the Jay and Kanye one that they have done a 3 bajillion dollar tour of.

I'm not getting anything confused. I'm referring to MBDTF which got extremely positive reception from all forms of media. You know, Kanye's 5th solo album. The extremely grand production were he hired every artist possible to collaborate, from Elton John to the lead singer of Bon Iver.
