No it uses solar power to power the led

I think led do turn off when app close.
I am using latest libnx. I had to grab latest libnx from switchbrew repo then build it myself.

I am sure it is possible to add a function to turn on led when the ftpd get a connection. I could fork the sys-ftpd and add it in.
