I installed it, works great for me. I just had to format flash1 afterwards.

Was Gen-C causing trouble for people or something? It worked fine for me, and I have the fat PSP. Looks like I'm gonna have to update again, just in case there's an increase in compatibility if not all of the newer games worked on Gen-C.

No problems for me whatsoever. I upgraded from GEN-B and everything went 100%. I highly recommend all GEN (hell, even M33) users upgrade to 5.50 GEN-D today.

I'm unclear what it's supposed to improve, other than negating the eboot patching.

Is it as easy to revert to m33 as the current GEN? I don't want to install anything that I'll end up needing a Pandora in order to remove.
