Hacking 5.5.2 downgrade to 5.5.1

How should we start this research. We have full mlc.bin, otp.bin and slc.bin along with other files and the tools and know-how to flash it with a teensy.

Should we start flashing and see what happens?

Then if you're willing to take the risk, upgrade to 5.5.2. Then follow my unbrick guide to solder a teensy++ 2.0 to your Wii U motherboard. Then flash your full mlc.bin and tell us what happens

I already told you. I don't have a teensy++ 2.0. I like to see the others do it first since 1. This is my first operation 2. I love my homebrewed Wii U and I would not want it to be bricked.

Brick your device first by either corrupting something or killing off system app.
But reflashing replaces everything... i don't know if it's convenient thing to do.
It would be better if somebody wrote hb app that downgrades using dump files from SDCard.

I hate when people say that. I use tapatalk most of the time which doesn't do signatures. So when people go "lol it's in his signature how did you not see it" just realize not all places to view the forum have signatures enabled.

I didn't know about that restriction with tapatalk. I personally don't use that on my phone. I don't have any of my login credentials on my phone either. regardless - it's stickied, so it's difficult to miss anyway.

I can use my phone just fine. It's just far more convenient to use tapatalk. Much easier to just tap a phone notification when something new happens. Don't even have to open the app or website to see the notifications. I'm not going to stop using the easiest and most convenient method of using the forums because it doesn't have signatures that I never interact with anyway.

aren't there only four or five titles to replace? I think this works since there's no hardware revision. decrypt with the otp, replace files, then reflash? r the old titles still available for download though?
