Hello. I have got a Switch which has 5.1 and my question is whats the most stable cfw or is it better to upgrade to. 6.2 and then install atmosphere ?

You can use either ReiNX or Atmosphere. Doesn't matter. Mine was 3.0.0 but update to 6.2 with ChoiNX.

6.2.0 is currently the system version with the greatest compatibility with games and game updates while also being compatibile with CFW. Therefore, it's the best version to be on at the moment.

You can update to 6.2.0 without burning fuses by using ChoiDujourNX. This will give you the ability to downgrade later, but that requires you to keep AutoRCM installed indefinitely.

A lot of people use Kosmos as their CFW, which is just a compilation of Atmosphere and everything else you should need.

Installing Atmosphere or ReiNX on 5.1 and update to 6.2 using ChoiDujourNX to avoid burning fuses is your best bet (every official update burns a fuse, stopping you from booting older versions of official firmware). Don't forget to make a NAND backup too.

You know 7.0 is out right? You want to avoid that for now. You didn't mention Choi, and you sound new, so don't update officially through Nintendo.
