keep getting an errorThe Makefile in the root directory should build everything (including loader.kip). Your screenshot looks like you're trying to run make from inside the loader folder. Just run it from the main "Atmosphere-master" folder.
i dont see an nroI went ahead and compiled atmosphere. You'll have to dig in the folders for the files you want.

I assume from SciresM's tweets you need the loader.kip file, but I haven't actually messed with running switch homebrew at all so I can't confirm any of this works.
SciresM said his loader was working. The loader is the part that loads nro files, it isn't an nro itself. It compiled to a .kip and .elfi dont see an nro

theres a .kip1 file do i rename?SciresM said his loader was working. The loader is the part that loads nro files, it isn't an nro itself. It compiled to a .kip and .elf
I think kip and kip1 are the same thing (both have "KIP1Loader" when viewed in a hex editor), so yes, probably just rename it to .kip1oh

Thanks. That's what I was guessing too, but I'm in the same boat where I can't test it.I haven't tried this and I don't have a 5.1 switch to test it on, but I think you'd want to take "stratosphere/loader/loader.kip", rename it to 'loader.kip1' and put that on the root of your microSD card.
That's definitely worth a shot too. No compile needed to try that.
keep getting a black screen after payload boot up meaning i must be missing somethingThanks. That's what I was guessing too, but I'm in the same boat where I can't test it.
