Gaming 5.03 GEN-B Won't install!!!!!!

I have 5.03 GEN-A installed on my PSP-3000, and when I go to the 5.03 GEN-B Quick Updater, it says "Now Reboot into 5.03 GEN-B," but i when i go to the System Info., It says "5.03 GEN-A (Full)." Can anyone help please?

Well that was totally necessary.

Anyway, what I do on my 2001 is go to ChickHEN R2, then use the 5.03 GEN-B quick updater without going to GEN-A first.
